50th ARTISTS ALPINE HOLIDAY ART SHOW AWARDS July 30 - August 7, 2010 Our thanks to all the artists, those who attended this great show, and our many volunteers, who made this 50th anniversary show such a great success. The show was dedicated to Wayne Mayfield, an exceptional artist with many awards, who is also a past President of the Ouray County Arts Association. His watercolor, "Window in Bodie" was selected as our Purchase Award in 1984, and his watercolor, "July 4th Parade" was selected this year. His paintings have been a joy to show in many of these shows over the years. Our Judge was John Cogan, an award wining painter of western landscapes, whose favorite medium is acrylics.
